If You’re Cold…They’re Cold
Winter has officially roared in our area with cold temperatures, snow, ice, wind chills and so much more. As the temperatures drop rodents and wild animals are seeking shelter. Gray squirrels, opossums, raccoons, mice, and rats are all looking for a place to stay warm. If you’re cold…they’re cold too. Here are some areas to inspect to keep “unwanted guests” out of your house this time of year:
- Look for gaps and/or holes inside your home
- Inside kitchen cabinets, refrigerators, and stoves
- Around fireplace
- Around doors
- Around pipes under sinks
- Around floor vents
- Around dryer vents
- Inside attic
- Basement or crawl space door
- Around windows
Here at Appalachian Pest Control we provide free inspections to determine where such rodents and animals could enter your home or business. We offer live trapping wild animals with safe removal, bait boxes for the interior and exterior, and exclusion services to seal up entry points. APC uses the latest technology in remote camera monitoring to make sure and correctly identify the problem at no additional charge.
Call us today to make sure the only guests in your house are those you invited!
